Are you a Heart person?

A heart person feels their center in their chest and in their heart. As a heart person, you will naturally be more in tune with your emotions, and you may be sensitive and understanding of other people’s feelings. A heart person is able to feel very strong, overwhelming emotions, but can also sympathize with others.

This is why people may burden you with their problems, as you are an excellent listener, and able to understand their emotional needs. However, this can weigh you down, affect your own emotions, and make you feel tired, sad and unfocused. You can also mimic other people’s emotions, feeling their stress, pain and sadness, carrying their problems as your own.

Whilst your loving and caring nature towards those you care about is admirable, you cannot go on being dragged down by other people’s issues and sadness. It affects how you are able to move on in life, or direct your own energy where it needs to be. In this case, you will need to ground and center yourself, doing things that bring you to a better place emotionally.

Heart Person Mantra: I am alive and well. I am happy. I am thriving. This means that you have an issue turning off your brain at night, or closing off your thoughts sometimes. Perhaps you feel that there are too many things going on at once, and your head just cannot take it.

This could be work responsibilities, projects that are burning you out, or sometimes you can feel overwhelmed by everything that is happening, or you are connected to everything around you.

A head person can worry themselves sick, constantly anxious about every possibility or every hazard in their lives. They may work themselves up, becoming stressed, overwhelmed and anxious. If you are a head person, then you will feel that your brain can never shut off, and you are always thinking about something, planning your next move, or brainstorming ideas for your next project.

Whilst it is great to be prepared, this can stress you out in the long run. It is essential that you remember to take a break from your tasks, center yourself, and ground yourself with rituals and habits that calm you down, and make you forget about work or plans.

As a consequence, you may be the type of person that forgets to eat proper meals because you are too busy, or on the other hand you may be gorging on snacks and fast food because you do not have the time or energy to think about cooking.
