Why You Have To Try The Chagaccino: The Mushroom Coffee

You may already be aware of all of the health benefits of different teas and coffees. The newest type of brew taking the world by storm is the chaga coffee, or the chagaccino. This is a coffee infused with the chaga mushroom, for a range of health benefits.

The chaga mushroom is known by many different titles around the world, including the kreftkjuke in Norway, which roughly translates to the cancer fungus. The chaga mushroom earned this name due to its exceptional health benefits and cancer fighting properties.

The chaga mushroom has a sort of hard texture, and can be dried, powdered or used to make extracts, teas and coffees. This way, you can utilize this natural remedy and reap all of the rewards of its power.

What is a Chagaccino?

A Chaga mushroom ‘ccino’ is the perfect solution if you want to enjoy a coffee, but want to keep a healthy diet and lifestyle. When we think about a delicious cup of coffee, we probably do not think that mushroom makes a good cup of coffee. It may sound strange, but trust us, it’ll change your life. The chagaccino is basically a type of superfood latte, much like a matcha latte. So why drink it?

Well…coffee can be so addictive, and you probably drink more than you should! Whilst coffee can be beneficial for you, having a traditional coffee with milk can be fattening as there is a lot of dairy.

Dairy can also cause you to break out, feel bloated, gain weight, and has even been linked to an increased risk of developing breast, ovarian and prostate cancers. On the other hand, the chagaccino is typically made with hot water or almond milk, powdered mushroom coffee and cinnamon.

Chaga coffee is not actually coffee, but you can see some of the same benefits. For instance, chaga can give you lots of energy, perk you up, and help soothe away stress. I can also help fight fatigue, and help you perform better, especially when under a lot of pressure or stress.

Why drink a Chagaccino?

Chagaccino is packed full of energy sources, antioxidants and beneficial ingredients. In addition, you will never break out after drinking this coffee as it will give you perfect, healthier and glowing skin.

A chaggaccino is typically made up of chaga mushroom powder, cinnamon powder, and plant based milk, cream or yoghurt for that creamy, velvety cappuccino feel. So, let’s take a look at why these ingredients are so good for you, and why you need to make the switch from cappuccinos to chagaccinos.

How to make a Chagaccino

Making a Chagaccino is simple. There are a few ways that you can make a chagaccino. For instance, you can mix 1 cup of hot water with 1 packet of Chag Cinnamon Elixir or cinnamon powder, and 1 packet of Mushroom Coffee. Then, mix 1 tablespoon of probiotic coconut yoghurt, or coconut cream with a few drops of coconut stevia and blend. Then, you can serve up a frothy, creamy and delicious mushroom coffee for you to enjoy.

On the other hand, if you prefer a sweeter type of coffee, then try mixing one packet of Chaga Mushroom Coffee Elixir with 1 ½ cups of unsweetened almond or coconut milk, along with 1-2 teaspoons of coconut sugar, and cinnamon for topping.

To do this, you will need:

With your ingredients gathered, simply heat up the almond milk in a saucepan over a medium heat, and warm until steaming or bubbles are beginning to form. Then whisk in the Chaga mushroom coffee sachet and coconut sugar until frothy and stirred thoroughly.

Once mixed and steaming hot, pour the chagaccino into a mug and top with a little sprinkling of cinnamon and serve!
